How can I pay for my new scarf?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and PayPal.
How much will shipping cost, and how long will it take to get to me?
Your order will be shipped within 3 - 5 business days after the payment has been cleared. Please allow up to 10 business days for your order to arrive from shipment confirmation.
(Please contact us directly for rush orders.)
Your order will be shipped to the address provided through shopify (not the one provided by Paypal, if different). If for any reason your order needs to be shipped to another address, please let us know by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by contacting us prior to your purchase.
Our shipments are sent through Canadapost.
Regular Mail - The default shipping method, unless otherwise requested. The price will vary depending on region but is typically between $10-45
* If you would like your order upgraded to express shipping, please contact us prior to purchase.
* International orders - We have no control over customs fees that may be charged upon arrival of your order.
I live in Vancouver! Instead of paying for shipping can I pick-up my order?
Of course! We love meeting our customers in person. We have a 'local pick up' option in our check out for Vancouver residents. As we work from a home studio you will receive an e-mail after your purchase from email@example.com to arrange a suitable pick up time.
Can I buy a scarf as a gift and have it sent directly to my loved one?
We love to be a part of gift giving. If you want an order shipped directly to a friend or family member please put their shipping address as different from the billing address (yours) and drop us a note in the ‘Special Instructions’ box while you are placing your order. We will ensure no confidential information is sent with the package.
If you are sending a gift and would like to add a personal message, we would be happy to fulfill your request.
I’m ordering this as a Christmas gift, how soon should I place my order?
Recommended dates to place orders by:
Canada & US
Regular Mail: Nov 29th
Express/Priority: Dec 13th
Regular Mail: Nov 22nd
Express/Priority: Dec 6th.
Can I buy your products in stores?
Currently we do not sell with any stores but hope to expand into retail soon. If you would like to see this happen as much as us, spread the word! If you are a store owner or buyer and might be interested in carrying Hermit & Anemone, we would love to hear from you! Please contact Jordanna at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is your return/exchange policy?
If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will happily process an exchange or return for items purchased at full retail price. Provided that the item has not been used or damaged, you may exchange or return it within 14 days of receiving your purchase. Only items returned in their original condition will be accepted. Once we have received the item and verified that the above conditions are met, we will promptly ship the new item. The customer is to pay any additional shipping charges that may result.
*Sale items are a Final Sale.
*Only packages clearly stated "A return" will be accepted. If it is not stated as a return and we are charged duties, the package will be refused and sent back to the shipper.

I’m super happy with my new scarf! How do I care for it?
We recommend hand washing your new scarf in cold water with a gentle detergent and hanging to dry. Iron on a low or silk setting. You may also dry clean your scarf. Please note some shrinkage and colour bleeding may occur. The fabric will soften dramatically after the first wash.
Oh no! The scarf I wanted sold out. Will it be available again?
Because we are a small company and all our products are handmade with love, we do small runs of our designs. Unfortunately we can’t guarantee once a print is sold out that we will be able to produce more. However, if you didn’t get one this time please drop us an e-mail or reach out to us via social media, let us know which designs you can’t live without, and we’ll make sure they’re first on the list to be made again!
Are the colours on my screen exactly as they will be when I get my scarf?
We do our best to ensure all our products appear as close as possible to the original image when they get to you. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee colours will match exactly due to monitor and printing variations.
Oh no! My order arrived and it’s damaged, can you help?
If any of the items from your order are missing, broken, or damaged when your package arrives, please contact us with your name, Transaction ID and a description of the problem. We will do everything we can get the issue resolved so that you are happy with your purchase!
I have one of everything, now I want more! Will you have more designs?
With your support we’re working hard to design and produce more collections. We love what we do and aim to release new prints twice a year. Telling your friends about us, shouting our name from rooftops, and giving shout-outs on social media are all amazing ways to ensure we can keep you looking fabulous in new designs every season.
How are your products produced?
We do our best to work exclusively with ethically run, Canadian-based companies. Our scarves are produced using digital printing techniques which minimizes dye wastage and uses less water than traditional printing methods. We love our earth and will always strive to have the least impact on it we possibly can. All our products are produced in Canada.
